Hello Eagles!
Summer is so close! For those who are making travel plans, we wish you safe travels. No matter where you go we hope you also plan a wonderful book adventure. To prevent “summer slide” and learning loss, consider keeping a routine for reading and review 20-30 minutes a day. Here are a few ideas:
-
READ and WRITE EVERY DAY!
-
Get out, take field trips, talk about your adventures
-
Write in a journal
-
Listen to audiobooks in the car
-
Cook with your children – integrates reading, math and following directions
-
Play math games such as Math War and Monopoly
-
Visit academic websites!
-
Explore the local library
