2023-2024 Home School Connection, week 38

Hello Eagles!

Summer is so close! For those who are making travel plans, we wish you safe travels. No matter where you go we hope you also plan a wonderful book adventure. To prevent “summer slide” and learning loss, consider keeping a routine for reading and review 20-30 minutes a day. Here are a few ideas:

  •  READ and WRITE EVERY DAY!

  • Get out, take field trips, talk about your adventures

  •   Write in a journal

  •  Listen to audiobooks in the car

  • Cook with your children – integrates reading, math and following directions

  • Play math games such as Math War and Monopoly

  •   Visit academic websites!

  • Explore the local library
