AC Library Key Services

Library Cards

If you don’t already have a library card, they are free and open to everyone. There are 2 ways to get a card:

  1. Get a library card through the mail by following the directions here.
  2. If you don’t want to wait for a physical card to arrive home, you could get an ecard, put books on hold, and we will then give you a welcome card (limit 15 items per card) included along with your holds when you come pick them up. You can convert that welcome card to a full library card, whenever you want, by following the steps here.

See our full FAQs for questions about your library cards and ecards. Under “What can I do with a Library card” you will find out about all the services we offer, including online tutoring, streaming movies, and more!

Requesting Materials

We have a video tutorial for setting up your account to request books. Please scroll all the way down and click “continue” to be guided through the tutorial. After searching for any materials you want in our catalog, you can click “Place a Hold” and log in with your card to request them.

You can request, pick up, and return items through our No Contact Service with your library card. Please know that you can also request a bundle of children’s books to pick up along with your holds.
