Hello Eagles,
We have had a busy few weeks at Pioneer! Thank you families who were able to come and watch our fourth and fifth grade students participate in the Walk Through California or Walk Through Revolution assemblies this week. Many of our students said “I love social studies.” What a wonderful enrichment opportunity for our students, which was made possible by our grant from the New Haven Schools Foundation. We also had a parade to end this week. Our Kinder and TK students ended the two week Lunar New Year Celebration with a parade. We cheered them on proudly as they chanted wishes for a prosperous Year of the Dragon.
Looking for summer enrichment? Summer Boost and the Social Justice Academy are back at Pioneer this summer! You can begin signing up for either the Boost or Social Justice Academy. Space is limited. Info is also posted on our website.
We have a few important dates for 2024-2025 school year! Please view our Home School Connection, week 27 for this week’s events and important dates! And don’t forget… we are still collecting books for our student council book drive. If you have new or gently used books, bring them into the office so we can find them good homes.
