2023-2024 Home School Connection, week 25

Hello Eagles,

It brings such joy to share the Celebrating Schools Event with other schools in our New Haven Community! Our theme this year was showcasing ways that we empower our students. During our Pioneer presentation this past Tuesday evening, Malcolm and Isaiah (first graders) shared their learning about Martin Luther King Jr.. Christopher (second grader) shared how Rosa Parks inspired him to be brave! And our proud fifth grader, Jonathan, shared a story about this writing journey over the years at Pioneer. We also included a small clip of our student podcast as well as a heartfelt video performed by our upper grade Special Education Students students during Disability month. We are proud of our young learners and find ways to elevate student voice at our school. Way to go EAGLES! To view our presention, click on this LINK.

Happy Lunar New Year to our families who celebrate! May the year of the Dragon bring you abundance! I wish your family good health, prosperity, and more more joy than your hearts can hold!
