Hello Eagles,
Shubh Diwali! Happy Diwali to our families who celebrate this festive time. The announcement below was made by our fifth grade students:
-
Diwali is India’s biggest and most important holiday of the year. It is a festival of light that celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil and the human ability to overcome. Diwali has become a national Indian Festival all over the world. Diwali starts on Friday and ends on Sunday. ~Pranav

We pray to Ganesha and Lakismh. The god of wisdom and goddess of wealth. We wish for prosperity throughout the year. My family says “…..” that means to have a safe journey. ~Naavya
-
My family paints and decorates the diyas and put them outside. It represents light over darkness. ~Shiv

We invite everyone to celebrate Diwali with us. On the black top and kindergarten yard, we will have a rangoli for you to color with chalk. If your family celebrates Diwali, we invite you to wear your traditional clothing tomorrow to school. ~Samriddhi
We are grateful for our diverse community. Truly, in our community, “everyone belongs in order to achieve!” There are some important upcoming dates! For information about this coming week’s events, please click on the Home School Connection, week 15.
