2023-2024 Home School Connection, week 12

Hello Eagles,
We are quickly approaching Halloween. While it is a fun and festive time for most students, for some, it can be a bit scary. Please be mindful when picking out costumes with blood and gore. We remind everyone that Pioneer is “rated G” for everyone.

We have the following two upcoming events:

  • Friday, October 27 @ 5:00 is Trunk or Treat. Students may not wear costumes to school. They can wear it in the evening for Trunk or Treat!

We are still accepting candy donations in the office. Thank you!

  • Tuesday, October 31 is our annual Halloween Carnival @ 8:15 – 8:45. Students can wear their costumes to school. Families can come to watch the carnival by the curvy wall on the black top or off campus as we pass by. The best place to see the parade is on the sidewalk. We plan to walk around the campus. Please cheer for us as we walk by!

Any goodie bags/treats will be sent home to enjoy. Please be mindful that we have many students on campus with severe allergies.

Halloween Costume Guidelines:

  • Costumes must fit over regular clothes so they can be changed later.
  • No Weapons
  • Follow the district dress code.
