We are excited to welcome Ms. Diana Kniskern to our Pioneer staff as our new Art Teacher! In addition to her daytime classes, Ms. Kniskern will be offering special after-school art sessions. If you would like to enroll your child, please complete the form linked below. Space is limited, so families will be contacted regarding class placement or waitlist status.
Open to 2nd and 3rd grade students for a three-session art series!
- 2nd Grade: Tuesdays on 10/15, 10/22, and 10/29
- 3rd Grade: Wednesdays on 10/16, 10/23, and 10/30
This exciting series will explore the works of Filipino American artist Pacita Abad, with a focus on her abstract mixed-media creations. Ms. Kniskern will guide students through hands-on projects inspired by Abad’s vibrant and dynamic style.
Classes will be held in Room 32 after school, with dismissal at 3:00 PM. Students attending the Beyond the Bell program should check in with staff before heading to art class.
We are also looking for a few parent volunteers to assist with projects. If interested, you are welcome to join your child in class and help bring these creative ideas to life!
