MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL RODRIGUEZ
Hello Pioneer Families,
Thank you to all the families who were able to join us for Back to School Night this week. It was a great night that our staff worked hard to prepare for our families. Families were able to meet their student’s teachers in person and learn about everything that their students will be seeing in the classroom this year. We also had the opportunity to share information with our families about the ABC’s of Pioneer Elementary and our Title 1 program. Thanks to everyone who attended and we look forward to having our families on campus again soon. A few reminders as we are now entering our 4th week of school. Please remember that when you are picking up or dropping off your students that we need cars to pull all the way forward in the drop off lane. It is also very important that cars not park in this lane as it makes it difficult for the long line of families waiting to drop off to get into the drop off area. Also, please make sure that you are keeping an eye out for any families that may be crossing the parking lot area. All of these procedures are in place to help make sure that we have a safe and efficient drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon.
We would also like to remind families that gates will open for on campus pick up in the afternoon at 2pm. We have solidified this process with our staff this week as there was some confusion earlier in the week when gates were opened too early. Thank you for your patience as we are onboarding new staff to our daily Pioneer procedures.
We are very excited that this year’s Fun Run is coming up on September 24th. Much more information will be coming out over the following weeks for the fun run. For now we would like to announce that we are selling Pioneer T-Shirts and gear on a new website. The T-shirts come in child and adult sizes and are available in dri-fit material or cotton.
