Hello Eagles!
A note about our September focus & more fun at Pioneer!
September is our Character Strong Program focused on Respect! We’ve been learning and talking about what respect looks like in action—both in how we treat one another and how we give and receive respect. Respect isn’t just about being polite; it’s also about listening, valuing differences, and appreciating what makes each of us unique. To bring this idea to life, some of our third-grade boys recently recorded a podcast where they shared about their Punjabi culture. They talked about traditions, family, and the importance of being seen and understood by others. It was a powerful reminder that showing respect also means honoring someone’s background, culture, and story. Check out our podcast to hear their voices and learn more about what respect means to them and their community! LINK: Let’s Talk About Respect
This week also launches our Pioneer Fun Run Fundraiser, and the next few days will be filled with fun as we discover new worlds and work together to raise $50,000 for student classroom activities.Funds raised will directly support school assemblies, recorders for music class, supplemental materials for media, and hands-on science experiments—all designed to enhance learning opportunities for our students.
Every student will take part in the fun through a character-building program, event day, and exciting schoolwide incentives.
Here’s how you can help us reach our big goals:
- Register your student at MyBooster.com. Search for “Pioneer.”
- Donate and share! We encourage every family to share their student’s page with 10 people.
- This year, most prizes are earned through shares via the Easy Emailer.
- First email share = 30 FREE Games at Chuck E. Cheese + 🎉 entry to win a MEGA Birthday Party!
- Classroom rewards will be earned throughout the week based on our tracker—adding extra excitement to our days! I’ll keep you posted as we earn them.
Event Day: 9/25—our epic Pioneer Fun Run celebration!
Thank you in advance for supporting our students and helping us reach our goals!
