Hello Eagles,
We are excited to share that our Board of Education has approved a resolution recognizing Celebration of Light Month, a time dedicated to honoring the many cultures, traditions, and histories that brighten our school community. This month reminds us of the beautiful ways light shows up in our lives, through learning, through connection, and through the unique stories each of our students and families bring.
At Pioneer, we are incredibly fortunate to be a community of diverse learners, where every voice matters and every culture is valued. Our students grow not only academically but also in understanding, empathy, and respect because they learn alongside peers whose experiences may differ from their own. Aside from our Equity Committee, we are creating a Spoken Word Club for grades 3-5. There is an interest meeting coming up. We invite our students to check it out!
As we celebrate this special month, we strengthen our commitment to inclusion and belonging. When every student feels seen, heard, and uplifted, our entire community shines brighter.
Thank you for partnering with us to make Pioneer a place where all students can thrive and where every family’s light is honored.
