Hello Eagles,
At Pioneer, we continue to grow together as a caring and connected school community. This fall, our Little Eagles in the Equity Council led a Costume Drive to ensure that every student who wanted to participate in the season’s fun could do so. Thanks to your generosity, many of our students were able to find costumes and feel included in the celebration.
As we move into November, we are beginning our Canned Food Drive to support our local community and families in need during the holiday season. We will have a collection bin in the front office for donations from November 12- December 12. In addition to canned goods, we are also collecting basic grocery supplies to support our students and families.
If you are able to donate, here are some simple items that can help create a Thanksgiving meal for a family:
- Canned vegetables (corn, green beans, yams)
- Boxed stuffing mix
- Instant mashed potatoes
- Cranberry sauce
- Boxed cornbread or biscuit mix
- Canned fruit
Other suggested food non-perishable items to donate: pastas, beans, oatmeal, cereal, snacks, etc.
Every item makes a difference and helps us live out our shared value of kindness and community. Thank you for supporting our Little Eagles as they continue to lead with empathy and action.
