This week, we sent some important information about attendance. Did you know missing two days of school every week can make it harder for your child to develop strong academic skills? Being late for 5 minutes each day equates to 900 minutes of lost learning time or 15 missed school hours! Please take a look at our flier called When Is Sick Too Sick for School? It’s important to attend school every day. If your child does not come to school, don’t forget to call the school attendance line at (510) 487-4530 option 3, or email pioattendance@nhusd.k.12.ca.us. 🎉BIG NEWS! 🎉 Our Pioneer Fun Run fundraiser kicks off soon! We’re raising $50,000 to support student classroom activities, enhance learning opportunities through school assemblies, recorders for music class, as well as supplemental materials for media class and hands-on science experiments. and we need your help.
