2024-2025 Home School Connection, week 38

Hello Eagles,

As we wrap up a truly wonderful school year, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support, partnership, and dedication. Together, we have created a learning community where every student, staff member, and family played a part in the growth and success of our school. It has been a joy to watch our students learn, lead, and grow!

As we head into summer, Ms. Mata and I encourage everyone to take time to rest, recharge, and, of course, keep the love of learning alive. Here are three fun ideas to try this summer:
🌞 Explore a local park or nature trail and turn it into a science scavenger hunt.
🌞 Start a family journal or scrapbook to capture your summer memories.
🌞 Try a new recipe or craft project each week—creativity counts as learning, too!

And don’t forget to read a great book—or two! Let your imagination take you on a book adventure. Whether it’s through a fantasy world, a historical journey, or a laugh-out-loud story, reading keeps minds sharp and curious.

Be sure to stop by the school office to pick up any medication.

Wishing you all a safe, joyful, and sunshine-filled summer. Thank you again for being such an important part of our learning journey! Check out the FINAL HOME SCHOOL CONNECTION, week 38 for this week’s calendar of events.

Important End of year reminders:

  • Pick up your child’s medication from the office. Anything left behind will be discarded.

  • Please check lost and found for missing items. All remaining items to be donated.

  • Return all media books and classroom belongings.

  • Fifth graders turn in their chromebooks to their teachers.

  • Moving soon?  Contact the office to do a change of address or provide a Drop Form  for your child’s new school.
