Hello Eagles,
This week, we came together to deepen our learning and discuss ways to support our children in coping with stress. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this important conversation! For those who would like to see the presentation, you can view it by clicking on: Parent Workshop: Helping Children Cope with Stress.
Please help us welcome Mr. Bautista, our new Music Teacher!
Hello Pioneer Families!
My name is Mr. Bautista, and I will be filling in for Ms. Kairys for the next few months. I am a product of the NHUSD Music Programs from the 90’s, attending Pioneer, CCMS and JLHS and taking part in music and marching band programs. My favorite memories from New Haven music classes was performing in the district-wide “Marching On” programs each year. I also have a niece and 2 nephews attending Pioneer and I look forward to having them as my students in music!
Since my time at New Haven, I have developed a love for making music, whether performing on drums, guitar, piano, singing, or even creating digital music and DJing. I hope to inspire our kids to explore new music experiences, so I will be bringing in instruments (electric drums, keyboards, guitars) for all our Pioneer students to have a chance to try something new! I will also be leading our Chorus and Musical Ensembles as they prepare for our Spring Concert and New Haven Day in 2025. Stay tuned for more information! As a former Pioneer Eagle, I’m excited to teach at my alma mater and get to know all of our Pioneer kiddos in the next few months.
Wishing you and your family a safe and joyous holiday season!
Mr. Bautista
