Hello Eagles!
Thank you to those who were able to come out for our Trunk or Treat Event on Friday. A heartfelt thank you to our PTC for putting on another amazing event!
A few things to mark on your calendars this week…
- We have an English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) Meeting on Monday, October 28, in room 33 @8:00am. Families with language learners are invited to meet with Ms. Mata about ways we support our language learners! We hope to see you!
- Thursday is a Minimum Day! Dismissal is @ 12:05.
- Our Annual Halloween Parade is on Thursday, October 31 from 8:15-9:00! This is a student event, but families are welcome to come watch and cheer on our parade! We will exit from the front of the school and return back to the back of the school. Similar to past years, we ask that families cheer on and watch our parade from the sidewalk or curvy wall on campus so that our students can view the parade and enjoy the fun. Please review our costume guidelines! (See info below).
- Parent Workshop~ Promoting Independence is on Friday, November 1, room 23 @8:15. Our workshop will focus on identifying the benefits of promoting independence in children, learn the 4 steps to teach new skills, and compile a list of 3-4 strategies to promote independence. Come learn with us!
Finally, we’re looking for old newspapers for Ms. Diana, our Art Teacher. Please drop off papers in the office or by room room 32. Stay tuned for a sign up for new classes soon!

COSTUME REMINDER: As we prepare for the fun, let’s remember that costumes with monsters, bloody masks, or weapons can be frightening for our younger students. Please ensure that all costumes are appropriate for school. We kindly ask that families leave accessories like swords, knives, guns, and similar items at home to help create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
